Once you have your device, there are some initial steps you will need to complete.
You should setup your device for use at home, which might mean creating user accounts for a student or guardian and connect it to your home internet.
Once initial setup is complete, please choose your device type (Apple Mac / Windows PC) below and follow the instructions provided.
Once your device is unpacked and setup, its a good idea to install and setup some basic software:
Google Chrome - We use the Google Suite for the majority of school technology operations and management. We recommend installing Google Chrome to ensure all features of Google Apps are supported and accounts are easily accessible by students. (For further assistance, click here)
Chrome Profile - After you have downloaded and installed Chrome, you should sign in using your SCAS student account. (For further assistance, click here)
WIFI Certificate - At SCAS we use an internet filtering device to ensure all users only have access to approved internet resources. We recommend downloading and installing our WIFI certificate prior to attending school. This will allow students to access the internet through SCAS internet filter with no issues.
